3 years

I totally forgot I had this blog until I saw a blog that my friend posted. A lot has happened in 3 years, my life has changed in more ways than I can count. I have moved several times and finally seen the Pacific Ocean! We have gained an addition to our family, a little boy who just turned two. My brother went to Africa for two years, my sister is married, and I have a new little sister who will be three in a few months. I have made many new friends and lost a few. I haven't stop being silly but I have grown up a little bit more. Time does that to us. I also started a YouTube channel. My videos aren't famous and don't get a lot of views but I have fun making them. My channel name is Sarah Igloo, so check me out!
When I first started this blog it was mostly for my writing and then turned into a photography blog. I still write and I still love to take pictures, but my main focus now is being a mother. I love my son and the happiness he brings in our lives! He is quite the handful most of the time ;) (what can I expect when he has me for a mother!) but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I will post some of my photos that I have taken in the past years in a later blog. This one is just to say I'm Back!

FINALLY!!!

I finally started my photography class!! I got my first Unit in the mail on Wednesday. I started listening to the first CD at work because I just couldn't wait and Karen got a little mad. But I don't care. It is no different than listening to a morning radio program which I do all the time and she never said anything about that. I got my bonus gifts today! I was so excited!!! I got a reflector, mini pop up studio and photography books!! I want to start using them tomorrow!! But I need to spend some time with Stephen before he leaves.

Tomorrow is going to be the first Saturday that we are going to be able to spend together since our honeymoon. He quit work a couple of days ago. It is really going to happen. He is really going to be gone. I'm not going to be able to see him maybe until September because I am staying to help my mom with the baby so my dad doesn't have to take off work. I have been trying to think of all the positive things about Stephen leaving so that I won't focus on all the negatives. 1) I will get the bed to my self and I can sleep on what ever side I want 2) I get more room in the room because I will take all his stuff to the storage place and 3) I get total control of the TV

Ouch...

Yesterday morning I got a splinter under my nail. And it was down down deep under the nail. I was screaming and crying, it hurt so bad it wasn't funny. I was freaking out because I thought that they were going to have to take my nail off. Well I went to the urgent care place and they got it out, which only took about 2 seconds. It hurt like heck!! Then they charged me an arm and a leg for it. I was mad. But at least I didn't have to go to the emergency room, they really would have charged me my first born child.

I haven't put any pictures on here in awhile, so there might be more than normal. Enjoy :)

I need a new car!!

It is very cold outside! I am ready for spring! But this is only the beginning of winter. Hopefully we will get a good amount of snow before winter is over so I can get some nice pictures.

My car's radiator broke on Thursday as I was driving home. Thankfully I was only about half a mile from the house. All of a sudden I saw smoke coming out from my hood. When I started to pull of the road I slid into a little ditch. It had rained really hard the day before and the ground was really muddy. Dad, Andy, and Stephen all came to help pull me out of the ditch and get my car home so they could look at it. I should have it fixed by tomorrow. What else will go wrong with this car??? The funny thing is that that morning, my dad asked me what I was going to do with my car after we moved, and I told my dad that I thought my car would be dead by then. Well it hasn't died yet, but it will only be a matter of time.

Christmas was good!! Florida was really really warm!! We were in short sleeves!! It was the greatest. It was also really good to see Stephen's side of the family! I haven't seen them since the wedding. I was nervous that it would be awkward, but it wasn't. Everyone made me feel welcome and I had a really good time. It was difficult for me to understand that I have a new family now because I had only seen them once. But now I feel like they are my family, which is good. We stopped by my Granny's house for a night on the way home. I always love going there. There are so many people, everyone is loud, and there are a billion kids running around all over the place. I wish we could have stayed another day because then I could have seen my cousin Holly and her new baby. But we had to get back to work. :(

New Years wasn't all that great. I fell asleep and woke up just in time to count down to the new year. I can't believe another year has gone by. I am so ready to get out of Jasper. I have been feeling the itchy moving bug for a while now. I am really glad that I know where I will be for next Christmas. WEST COAST!!

Great News!!!!

I am going to be a big sister all over again. Yup thats right, my mom is pregnant!! The baby is due in August! We are all pretty excited about it. Heather doesn't believe that my mom is pregnant yet, because her belly is not big yet. It is funny. Both me and Amber think it is a boy.
I am kinda sad that I will prolly be gone when it is born. But I guess I can always visit.
